Disappointing that the rugs were damp and musty from air conditioners running constantly during heatwave. We didn't complain cause we figured all the rooms would have similar problem. They didn't offer any kind of discount or incentive to come back. Said we should've said something. Liked parking close to our sliding door. Breakfast was good.
Our room was ready and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and we got a great sleep. Breakfast was hot and a good selection to please everyone.
Stayed there 1 night last week. The staff was friendly enough but the room was not cleaned very well. You could tell the sink and tub were only just wiped out. There was no shampoo left for us but they did have 2 conditioners.there. When I went to the desk for shampoo they couldn't believe it wasn't there. The icing on the cake was that there was still coffee in the pot from the previous guest. I would have to suggest that their housekeeping staff is non existent or don't care.I gave 2 stars only because they allow pets
Rooms very clean and updated hot water in shower good pressure bed clean and comfortable.Staff extremely friendly helpful and kind (especially the one lady who owns a greyhound and the gentleman man on Sunday morning) they were so helpful and lovely to deal with. Excellent parking wonderful green space for pets including poop bags and garbage to dispose of. Quiet location and easy to find and access. Recommendations for rooms slightly narrower desk would have made easier to move between table and bed to get to fridge but overall very impressed with this hotel Thank you
Clean, friendly & courteous staff. The breakfast is a bit different, each morning with enough selection that, after a few days stay, it doesn't get boring. There is plenty to do in this lovely town Cobourg, including Victoria Park at Cobourg's infamous beach, a few choices of laundromats, restaurants and the location is quiet and very easily excess from the 401. I have had quite a nice, relaxing and quiet stay. The prices are decent, even on weekends and I would definitely stay again and reccomend it highly. No frills but nice.
