Stayed here for a couple of nights. The beds and pillows are very comfortable, everything is clean, and there is lots of storage space. I got a king bed room, and it came with helpful amenities like a hair dryer, microwave, and mini fridge. I only spoke to staff when checking in and out, so I don't have much to say about them or their customer service - however, the short time I talked with them, they were pleasant. I know there is a gym and indoor pool here, though I never used it. I will stay here again when I am in need of a bed in Cobourg!
Would have given a 1.5 but didnt have the option.Before arriving I talked to a girl on the phone about booking a room, my friend had given me their free room coupon, who also works at a best western in Ontario. The girl on the phone said to bring the coupon in and thats it.Upon arrival, I handed my coupon to the clerk who then demanded I give a best western employee number and proof I worked there. I said I didnt have that and that I was told to just bring the coupon. The woman at the front desk specifically said this coupon means nothing to me I was told I needed a visa for incidentals, which is customary. I have my visa debit and checked in. I was told I would only need to come back in the morning to get my money back. When I did go back instead of putting the money back into my account they gave me cash as their only option so I now need to hit the bank to deposit my money back. After being checked in my friend and I went to the bar located inside, about an hour or two later my friend got sick. The food my sub par but the service was really good.Id say, save your money and book elsewhere.
Went to Cobourg best westerns "Arthur's pub" for open mic night. The staff was great, atmosphere was amazing and the music was entertaining! The one man with his original guitar riffs was amazing as well!!
Our stay at the Best Western Plus in Cobourg, Ontario was amazing. The new Pub has great service, terrific food and is absolutely stunning! Room service is available now. Good for them. The rates are reasonable. The room and the hotel were spotless and very well appointed. The staff were always happy to serve and how invaluable is that. We will be back for sure.
Our family spent two nights at the inn and could not have been happier. Staff are fantastic and friendly. Our rooms were comfortable and clean. We were able to use the fitness room and the pool which are well taken care of and clean. This is our second year at the Inn and we are looking forward to coming back!
