I had the most amazing service I've ever had with an auto shop today. I had 2 lug nuts that wouldn't come off my car (I tried everything), I called around to the dealership and other garages but the earliest I could find was next day afternoon (that wasn't even the dealership).... Fast forward to almost losing hope that I'd never get the lug nuts off and would have to pay a lot of money to get the lug nuts off..... These guys went above and beyond, no bullshit or laughing at me like I was speaking gibberish, they said "bring it over as soon as you can and will just come out and take them off" I get there and they immediately throw me in a bay and within less than 5 mins they had the nuts out and even gave me a replacement but because mine was messed up. What did this cost you might ask? $100+ No.... They charged me nothing! If I ever need future tire or repairs, just know you got a customer for life.
I have been to OK tire on many different occasions. I have never had any issues with any of the work, or any of the staff. In fact I find Colleen very helpful and kind, as well as the other staff. Reading previous comments, I can’t help but think they may not be the full truth. There are always 2 sides to every story! I would recommend OK tire ! ?
Stopped into this place, on an emergency basis as I had a flat tire and was concerned I would not be able to drive the car any further without doing serious damage to the rim . The staff advised me that I need a "brand new tire" as this one was beyond repair. The employee said that "nothing could be done today" as the employee stood there with his hands in his pockets, not offering any help nor solutions. I did notice an open bay that perhaps could have been used to put on the spare tire. No suggestions were offered. At this point, I asked the employee if I could use the parking space at the shop to remove the tire and put the spare on myself as he did not seem engaged as to what his role was at this business establishement. I proceeded to put on the spare, drove over to GoodYear Tire and had my issue resolved. Poor, very poor service.
I had friends that needed emergency help with their tires . Turned into see if they would help. They said they could not help at all , were completely rude and sent my friends on their way with a blown tire . Very dangerous . Horrible customer service . Think twice before you go here .
Lady at front desk took 10 minutes with another customer. When it was my turn for my scheduled appointment she said that is was now 15 minutes late and proceeded to ask a number of unrelated questions…she was quite confrontational and stated twice that it was 20 minutes past the scheduled time. This was 100 percent due to her behaviour. I ended up walking out without giving them my keys. This is after looking forward to this appointment for over a week.
Was quoted on phone price of 20 per tire plus hst for changing trims. Was charged higher price when done plus brought own tires and was charged for a tire fee. Received bad service.
I have been using this shop for about 4 years ( through 3 name changes - but the people stay the same ). I cannot say enough about the people - particularly Tara and John - they go above and beyond to solve the problem at hand and I have had some bizarre ones - from mice chewing through ignition wires ( welcome to country living ) to a collapsed fuel tank that was ultimately caused by a faulty gas cap. I have found them to be absolutely no nonsense tell it like it is and find a solution people and will always trust that what they say is what it is. A rare find in this world we live in. Thanks for keeping it real !!
