Freshest sushimi I've had in a long time. a bit pricy but worth it! I was there last week and saw their place had closed down. i was completely shocked and disappointed BUT looked a few doors down and I guess they were doing so well they moved into a bigger storefront !! I've only SAT in once and service was great but takeout is always fresh and on time when ordered. Great place!There is parking on the street if you can find a spot cuz it is downtown Cobourg BUT there's also parking in the back it's just a bit hard to find
The food is very authentic and exquisite but the waiting time is a little bit long.
Great food but as previously said long wait when it's busy. Waitress was so nice. The food is 5 star!!!
Great place for lunch. Their Teriyaki box lunches are wonderful! Restaurant is clean and inviting.
This review is only about the hostess. Not about the food or the service since we never got a chance. We were a party of 11: 6 adults, 2 teenagers and kids. Visiting Cobourg as tourists and looking to have a bite to eat somewhere. When we entered, I immediately noticed two things: one, could be a good place to eat and two, a person who is definitely not there to help you. One would think that a party of 11 would be a good thing for a restaurant and one would be wrong. It might be true that we were too large a party for this place but she didn't even want to pretend to care. She looked us straight in the eye and with absolutely no compassion she said "sorry, can't accommodate you". How about "Let me look at the reservations, let me see what I can do"? Or even to pretend that she cares but to make it impossible for us "I can probably seat you together in about 45 minutes". Obviously, we won't stick around for 45 min. but at least we won't feel like the unwelcome 6th cousin.
