Brittany and Kyle are amazing!!!!!!!!! Man did they step up last week when I was on my way to Quebec on the 401. Brittany was the ONLY person in Coburg and Port Hope that would take my car in last minute. The problem was fixed by Kyle quickly-and I was back on the road in 30 mins! What a team. Update: Between May and July, I brought my vehicle to this shop multiple times. Initially, I met with Joe re issue with a noise coming from the hood, vibration and noise when making right and left turns and the air conditioner not working. Joe, who inspected the vehicle, told me the transmission needed repair. He species that a replacement was not needed just repair that would be handled by a shop in Peterborough. He assured me he would personally take it there in his pickup truck. He shared that the shocks and plugs needed to be replaced and the A/C to be repaired. I paid $4,060 for these repairs after being told everything was fixed. However, the original issue persisted. When I returned, I met with Brittany I think was her name and Andrew from the Port Hope shop who informed me that Joe was no longer employed there. I asked to speak with the owner after being told I now needed to pay another $3,000+ for repairs. Despite repeated attempts, my concerns were dismissed, and I was informed the owner’s contact information could not be provided. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a mechanic. I paid thousands of dollars for work that was never properly completed, and my vehicle is now parked—undrivable. I feel completely taken advantage of and left without any resolution. Transparency and accountability should be the foundation of any reputable business, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Brought my vehicle, got it diagnosed, sent it for repairs, paid thousands of dollars and got the vehicle back in worst condition and undrivable. Very disappointing.
It seemed like alot of money to tell us the motor was no good,knowing that the car was 12 yrs old and a repair of $5500 was not reasonable. I believe a simple diagnosis of $100 would be more then enough. Either way that's business.
Even though it was past his closing time, he helped us out and fixed up our car so that we wouldn’t have to stop our roadtrip midway. Amazing service and great help!
