I picked up my car from Fix Auto Northumberland today after having my front bumper repaired, and the level of service and attention to detail was incredible. My car looks amazing, they helped arrange a rental car for the two days my car was in the shop, and they even took the time to professionally detail the inside, which was completely unexpected. Chelsea and the Fix Auto team has been such a pleasure to deal with, and I will definitely be recommending Fix Auto Northumberland to friends and family.
I took my 24 traverse there for a small scratch and gouge in the front lower part of the fender.Chelsea looked at it and emailed me a quote and booked my appt right away..she went out of her way to help me...couldn't be happier keep up the excellent work guys!!!
Several large scratches and a back spoiler needed to be replaced and/or fixed on my 2020 car. I got two quotes, Fix It was the most reasonable. Upon picking my car up, not only were the areas of concern looking brand new, the car was clean as a whistle inside and the back storage area was also cleaned. The job was well done with some extra perks thrown in. Thanks to the staff at FixIt.
I had a warranty rust repair completed by Fix Auto. Approximately 2 years later, the clear coat was peeling off the paint. They reluctantly agreed to repair the issue after several weeks of communication through the dealership. After the "repair" was completed, I inspected the area repaired and found the repair to be worse off than before. You could see where it had been taped off and the new clear/paint overlapped the tailights. The overlap was to the point that I could not remove a taillight without chipping the paint. The shop then agreed to repair it yet again. However, they would not accommodate my work sechedule for pick up and drop off; as they did not want to pay for an extra day on a car rental. In order to make the drop off work, I would lose 3 hours of work to get my car fixed properly, after 2 failed attempts. It is not my fault it was not done correctly the first 2 times. To make matters worse, they said they would contact me to work something out, and this was at the end of September, it is now approaching mid November. I have still heard nothing from them. I ended up trading the car in and most likely took a finacial hit on trade value due to the poor workmanship. I will never allow them to touch one of my cars again or recommend them to anyone. The lack of quality workmanship is one thing... And mistakes happen, that I understand. But the unwillingness to make sure that your mistakes are corrected with as little inconvinience to the customer as possible is why I'm giving a 1 star review.
Absolutely the best service from everyone at Fix Auto, Cobourg. Up-front pricing, and work finished on time. Car was cleaned after repairs. Highly recommended.
The bumper on my car needed to be painted and they did a good job of repainting it and they did it on time. However, when I picked my car up my phone charging cable was missing. When I called and asked for it back they didn’t call me back so I had to reach out again, just to be told they dont have it.
Northumberland Collision did a wonderful job on my vehicle after a collision. It looks like new! I have a wheelchair modified van and some specialized parts were damaged. Another collision centre in town wouldn't even touch it or give a quote as they said 'we don't do wheelchair converted van repairs'. Hard to believe, parts are parts and can be ordered, fixed and painted - it's not rocket science. To that end, I am grateful Northumberland Collision took the work and did a great job to boot.
